He’s at it again. Just when we thought the big-headed rapper couldn’t go any further we were wrong. Sunday night at the VMA’s Kanye West stole the show – for all of the wrong reasons. West grabbed the microphone just as Taylor Swift began to accept her award for best female video. Kanye told the audience that Beyonce had the better video and deserved to win. Taylor Swift, who was clearly stunned, left the stage. The camera showed a shocked Beyonce who clearly unapproved of the comments.
Later Beyonce won the award for video of the year and called Taylor Swift out on stage to let her finish her acceptance speech. Throughout the show the crowd consistently booed West, who quickly became the villain of the night. He posted two different apologizes on his website soon after the show for what he said, but it was too late. Monday night he appeared on Jay Leno’s new show and apologized again with visible emotion. Recently it has been reported that Kanye called Taylor Swift to apologize. It’s unfortunate he had to ruin such a nice girl’s moment.
We know the guy has gone through alot, but we’re getting sick of his little publicity stunts. We’re still reeling from his outburst on the telethon for hurricane Katrina. He’s an idiot. Let’s hope people start wising up to that fact.
Here is some video of the events:
