Ludacris, the hard-hitting rapper from Atlanta, gave back in a big way to those less fortunate than himself. Teaming up with a local car dealership, Ludacris helped get 20 people in need into cars.
The rapper went on a radio station in Atlanta and announced the giveaway for all to hear. Anyone who could pay the tags, taxes, registration, and insurance were encouraged to apply. Applicants also had to write a 300 word essay about their personal need for the car. In the end over 4,000 essays were received. Cars went to those who needed them most: Single moms, those out of work, and those who had fell onto hard times.
The Atlanta dealership, Nissan South, had a surplus of used cars for the giveaway. No doubt a few people were helped by this act of kindness. We’re glad to hear a celebrity in the news for something positive.
