Patrick Swayze, the star of such movies as Ghost and Dirty Dancing, died yesterday at the age of 57. The actor, who had been battling pancreatic cancer for the last two years, died from the disease. Throughout his public battle with cancer, Swayze continued his work as much as he could.
Asked by Barbara Walters about if he was afraid of death Swayze said: “I will be either truthful or stupid and say no, but immediately when I say that, I say yes I am. I don’t know what’s on the other side.” The interview, which airs Tuesday, will be a candid final interview with the popular actor. Stars from Hollywood gave their thoughts about Swayze today.
