Princess-to-be Kate Middleton has finally chosen a designer for her wedding gown. While it may not seem like that big of a deal, designers and the media alike have been speculating about it from the moment Middleton and Prince William became engaged. Touted to be the biggest wedding of the century, this gown will bring an enormous amount of attention to the designer, and will be pictured for decades to come.
The blushing bride to be has selected Sarah Burton, the creative director of Alexander McQueen, to design the dress that the world will critique. Her designing style in the past has been describes as feminine and elegant, with a touch of quirkiness. Her designs have previously been worn by celebrities and political figures such as Michelle Obama.
