The question of the month remains: is Britney Spear’s comeback going to last?
After her recent years of shame, will Brit be able to stick in the spotlight for good? And for the right reasons?
While Spears is no stranger to the spotlight, her past antics have made her more a laughing stock, or reason for concern, than a true talent to watch. After all, can anyone forget the trainwreck that was “Chaotic?” While her dancing and vocals have previously been on the back-burner, her crotch-flashing, driving with a baby on her lap, head shaving, paparazzi attacking, mental breakdown antics have been making headlines for years.
However, 2011 seems to be the year of her comeback, or so her publicists would home. With the release of her new album “Femme Fatale,” an already successful single “Hold it Against Me,” and two popular music videos for her new songs, it seems the pop diva may be reclaiming her crown once again. While she has been criticized for her recent lip-syncing appearances, and her less-than-impressive dancing, she is clawing her way back to the top, and her fans are loving it.
So let’s hear from our readers: do you think Britney’s comeback is the real deal, or a sad attempt at a career revival already in the stinker? Leave us a comment!
