The announcement of a new addition to a family is always very exciting. Beyonce surprised many people by announcing that she is expecting when she arrived at Sunday’s Video Music Awards. She was wearing a red Lanvin caftan that made her swelling belly obvious to viewers. Photographers quickly asked her rep to confirm their suspicions, which they received. Beyonce said, “I always said I would have baby at 30…I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it.” Her husband, Jay-Z, is also looking forward to the new arrival.

One of the most memorable players for the Baltimore Orioles, Mike Flanagan, died. He was a former Cy Young Winner and he was a part of the Orioles’ 1983 World Series Championship team. Mike was only 59. He is remembered for his amazing career in baseball. Following his time on the team, he did commentary for his team. He was also the vice president of baseball operations and executive VP for them. Flanagan was a very committed player.

New questions about reality TV and the impact it has on its actors and viewers have begun to rise with the recent suicide of Russell Armstrong. Russell Armstrong was dealing with a lawsuit and a divorce at the time that he committed suicide. The second season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was also set to premiere. He left the cause for his actions a mystery as he left no note behind. However, his role in “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” may have had something to do with it experts suggest. The show has a pretty negative spin on real life as it discusses murder, drug trafficking, overdoses, financial ruin, custody disputes, and divorces.
